We had a great assignment at Oliver Steer Interior Design last week.
The new look showroom was opened to the public and to celebrate, a launch event was held with many high profile clients attending.
We were asked to cover the event with candid shots of the clients in conversation as well as shooting the various high quality bespoke items on display that Oliver travels the world to find.
The event continued late into the evening and was a complete success judging by the amount of people that attended.
A fantastic event and many thanks to Oliver, Brian and the rest of the team who made it a pleasure to be there.
This was a very colourful and fun evening for the guests which was organised by The Victoria Leisure club at the Ramada Hotel all in aid of a great cause for Cancer Research UK.
As we were given a space near the reception area for our mobile portrait studio, Mathew and I arrived in plenty of time to allow for any problems while setting up. In public spaces you just never know……..
Fortunately, everything went like clockwork so by 7pm we were ready to go and soon after the guests started to arrive.
The theme was bright and beautiful and the ladies attending the evening didn’t dissapoint.
After a busy hour taking individual, couple and group shots it was all over and everyone went on to enjoy a great event which lasted late in to the night while we packed up and got ourselves home to begin working on the shots we had taken.
Thanks to the Victoria for asking us to cover the event and also to the Ramada who were helpful in every way possible.
It’s 39c and I’m currently in France, Hermitagè on an assignment at M. Chapoutier vineyards documenting the various processes and culture of the industry for a client who has restaurants and a love for fine wines. I’m about to go to the top of that mountain you can see….. wish I had my shorts on and there was a swimming pool up there, phew!!!
Thought I’d post this little montage I did for the purpose of testing uploads from my Iphone. Easiest way to update the blog while on the move
Well its been a hectic week completing the site so today is a chill day. However, its France next week so need to pack my gear.
Trying to keep it simple……
But failing miserably!!!
Hi there everybody and welcome to our new website !
Well we’ve been very busy here at Bakers Lodge Studio preparing for our launch and finally it looks like we’re here ! Yey. Most importantly we have been working on our website so that we are able to offer all of our customers the opportunity to view our portfolios on-line and to also enable you to view/order prints on-line from the comfort of your own home
Let me start by introducing myself and our team. There is little old me, Sonia Shrive. My role in the business will be taking bookings and managing the website including the facebook page and other social media, leaving Paul and Matthew to concentrate on what they do best – the photography !
Second in the team is my hubby, Paul Shrive, owner and photographer, and last but by no means least our Principal Photographer Matthew Ormesher. They have a combined 20 year history in the photographic industry, however, this is the first time that they have worked together and turned their passion into a fully fledged business. Take a look around our portfolio website and see some of the work they have done already.
We are really excited to be able to offer you two photographers with completely different styles yet equally superb photographic skills.
They are both are contactable via landline 01704 231223 or mobile number 07851187207.
Feel free to get this blog bloggin’……
